On my route, I drove through a town Gytheio. I think next time that I travel through the Peloponnese, I will try to stop here for a meal or maybe even overnight. It looked like a nice, happening town, but the parking situation stressed me out. So I kept driving.
I picked up some pastries from a shop on the edge of Gytheio. Please enjoy my review of those pastries.

The town of Limeni was much smaller and offered less stressful parking opportunities. I stayed in this cute town for a night. My accommodation was in the town, very close to the water. Dreamy!

Limeni is so cute and charming. It feels very calm and relaxed. At this point in my life, I have no interest in living in a small town, but I really enjoy visiting them!
While I was waiting to check into my accommodation, I realized that my esim did not have hotspot capabilities. Luckily there was a hotel in Limeni that had free wifi. I found a nice spot in the shade to take a few work calls while connected to the free wifi.

There were posted signs warning about the presence of sea turtles! While I was sitting outside taking my work calls, I actually saw a sea turtle swimming around!

For lunch, I ordered a Mani style pita, and it was delicious. It had a somewhat focaccia texture to it and was lightly fried kind. I think pita is delicious, but Mani style pita is even more delicious. It was suggested to be served with Graviera cheese or honey. I opted for the cheese, but I know the honey would have been so good as well. I also ordered a spoon sweet and fried tiny shrimps.

Mani is a special region of the Peloponnese. Next time I visit this region, I will spend more time in the Mani Peninsula. I think it would be more fun with friends, family, or someone rather than as a solo travel. I do enjoy traveling, and I don’t mind traveling alone, but sometimes while traveling alone, I get a bit melancholy.
I still enjoyed my time, though. Here’s more pretty views of Limeni.

Opa! On the way out of town, my car was making some weird noises. I thought it was just the sound of cobblestones, but once I got onto the smooth road, the sound persisted. My car had a flat tire! The process with the rental car company fetching me a tow truck and the tire repair was a breeze!

After the slight delay, I continued on to the town of Kardamyli.
