The mountains are starting to collect snow which creates a beautiful backdrop to our lower hikes. Today the weather is finally a bit clear and we were able to do two hikes. The sun is much appreciated!

The Highlands Gravdal
This hike began with a wooden plank path and then became a more elevated, but still muddy, path. We were offered views of sheep farms, the sea, and fjords. It was pretty empty aside from a few other hikers.

We made friends with a Norwegian woman who lives in the area.

Ryten Hike
To make use of our potentially only decent day of hiking, we did a second hike on our route, the Ryten Hike. We did not hike all the way to Ryten beach, but rather, we hiked up to a mountain viewpoint halfway there. We felt satisfied to turn around at that point due to the encouragement of cold rain and the empending sunset.

It was so nice to do some hiking!
