As it turns out, it will be very cold as low as -40° in Chicago for the next few days. Fortunately, I have a trip planned to Puerto Rico! How lucky am I?

I was originally going to attempt to pack for this trip only using a personal item, but I opted to add a carry-on bag. The carry-on bag gives me more luggage space and also a place to stow my huge winter coat when I’m traveling.

Because it’s like -5°, I wore my coat and some close-toed shoes to the airport.

And then I immediately transformed into warm weather clothes and sandals after I got through airport security! 81° weather here I come!

For the plane ride, I printed out some Bad Bunny lyrics to memorize, and I have irregular Spanish verbs to conjugate thanks to this verb wheel from my parents.
